Cooking courses for children in Mallorca

Mini Chefs & Junior Cooks at the United Children’s Club

More than simple kids’ cooking classes – a real experience

With us, children don’t just learn to cook – they learn to be proud of themselves. In our new outdoor kitchen at the UCC finca in Campos, children discover the joy of hands-on cooking: kneading, chopping, seasoning, tasting, and plating. No rush, no distractions – but with fresh ingredients, real flavors, and a big dose of enthusiasm.

Every child helps, takes part, and experiences what good food means. Our courses combine play, education, and enjoyment – age-appropriately supervised, lovingly guided, and with standards that go far beyond mere “cooking.”

At the end, children don’t just take home their favorite recipe and a certificate, but also the proud feeling:

“I made this myself.”

Quality & Safety

  • Age-appropriate tasks and clear safety briefings (knife, hygiene, and safety rules, see below)
  • As in all United Children’s Club courses, we value cleanliness, mindfulness, and the joy of real hands-on activity.
  • High-quality, fresh ingredients – predominantly organic and seasonal
  • Short group routes and a protected area at the UCC finca in Campos

Washing hands, hygiene, and safety are a matter of course – with a pinch of lightness and humor, just the way children love it.

Hygiene & Safety in Our Children’s Kitchen

Safety, cleanliness, and the joy of real cooking – for us at the United Children’s Club, these go hand in hand. In our outdoor kitchen in Campos, we maintain clear hygiene standards that are playfully taught to the children. Washing hands, clean work, and respectful handling of food are fixed elements of every course.

Our instructors work with fresh, predominantly organic ingredients and place great importance on order, mindfulness, and safety – without a sterile atmosphere, but with heart, humor, and educational sensitivity.

At the beginning of each course, we hold a small “hand-washing ritual” and explain, in an age-appropriate way, why hygiene and safety in the kitchen are so important – this covers both safety and order at the workstation (knife rules, tidiness, mise en place) as well as handling different foods and the associated hygiene regulations (e.g., use of gloves).

This creates an environment in which children take responsibility, develop independence, and experience that cleanliness and zest for life go wonderfully together.
